Where do we ship to?
Right now we can offer home delivery for free to customers based in Aberdeen City. For everyone else we can send our products across the UK.
How many products can I order?
Right now we’re only able to send out a maximum of 2 jars per order, due to restricted delivery options. In the future we’re hoping to lift this restriction so you ferment fiends can get an even bigger fix. If you’re one of these people please do get in touch at email@example.com and we’ll see if we can help you sooner.
How long will delivery take?
We post out orders twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. We use Royal Mail 1st class service to get products to you as quickly as possible. We’re a very small company though so please do bear with us if things take a little longer than we’d like.
How much does delivery cost?
During the COVID-19 lock down we'll be offering FREE no contact delivery to customers in Aberdeen City. Shipping to all other customers is £4.99.
How are the products packaged?
We use recycled boxes, re-used protective packaging and recyclable paper tape to package up your products in an environmentally friendly manner. As these products should be kept chilled we also include a re-usable ice pack to keep them cool during delivery. Because of this it’s normal for a bit of condensation to be in the package when you receive it.
What do I do with my products when I receive them?
We ask that you place your products in the fridge (between 2-5°C) as soon as you receive them. We’ve had our products tested for safety after they’ve been kept at room temperature for 5 days. But, this doesn’t mean you should leave them out of the refrigerator! As these are living products they will begin to actively ferment again and potentially leak if you keep them at room temperature, so get them in the fridge ASAP.
What do I do if my product has leaked in transit?
As we provide raw, unpasteurised living products they might get a bit excitable during delivery. Bubbling, hissing or leaking is normal and your product is perfectly safe to eat. Just give it a little clean up and pop it in the fridge.
